Logger Event – Bellingham, Washington – June 11th 2017

We attended this with Ken and had a great time starting with a Horse Drawn Carriage taking us from the parking lot to the event area. Now Staci wants to go on a horse drawn carriage ride on Mackinac Island. No idea where that is. We saw all the events and the World Record Holders for climbing log poles, Climbing 90 feet straight up, go at it. We somehow got talking to a guy sitting next to us who turned out to be running the event, who introduced us to the MC of the whole thing and as Staci says it took off like a wildfire. We were treated like minor Celebrities and people kept coming by to say Hi to us like we were Somebody, We were, just Kyle and Staci having a great time at the Northwest’s biggest logging event.

You can see the 90ft poles in the background. This is about an hour before it all kicked off and we had great seats to see it all. Staci wanted me let you know Gene Cheeseman from Gold Rush was there running all kinds of Heavy Equipment for them. Staci had always desired to see a logging contest. Check it off the list Baby.
