This is the Big dog Motorcycle Rally. Did we plan on being here during Rally time. No! We found out it was almost here when we showed up in South Dakota. We came up 2 days prior to it starting and it was crazy. I cannot imagine 500,000 thousand plus showing up. The entire State of South Dakota has a population of like only 700,000.
All the famous places were gearing up for the big show.
This is the famous Buffalo Chip Saloon, doesn’t look normal without 50,000 Drunks surrounding it though. Online photos will show you what I mean.
We went and I am glad we did 2 days before the Chaos. The post on Deadwood will show a little of what was going on.
