Prince of Wales Hotel and Waterton Park, Canada – June 28th 2017

Staci was taking a photo of the Hotel sign and lo and behold a Big Horn Sheep photo bombed her shot

As you can see Staci is excited to Eat at the Prince of Wales Hotel located in Canada. I was a little less excited because of the one way travel time of 4 hours from where we were staying. A total of 8 hours driving for a evening meal.  Love makes you do crazy things.

What would a trip to Prince of Wales Hotel be without riding in the oldest elevator in Western Canada. As you may have guessed I took the stairs. That thing creaked and groaned and no one rode it the whole time we were there. Important Safety tip you think! Staci acted like it was a roller coaster and said it was fun.

Our view out the window while eating was stunning. You can’t see it in the photo but the Lake reflects the snow capped mountains in it’s reflection. Hence why people come here. Heck I could see myself in a mirror though, I don’t need to drive 8 hours round trip to see my reflection. If you think mirrors are different like like the color white, Then yes you have to come here. For Me next time I am taking a picture of us in a Mirror and go take a nap. But Staci was thrilled, I think Love is going to kill me sooner than later.

Oh did I mention the Dinner was not cheap, You can’t see it but I am smiling here. Why because we are leaving and going to the ice cream parlor down in Town, well village. I didn’t have another left arm to paid for Desert.

Yes!!! I have my ice cream from Canada to boot. Okay I realize it’s Canada, but Lordy Staci and I were laughing really hard because we were all speaking English in the Ice Cream Shop. Yet apparently not the same English. It’s not like when you go to a ice cream shop you want your Truck worked on. They had 7 flavors and we were really challenged to get one cone, the customers and the other girl all joined in the translation of english to english. At that point I was taking whatever they gave me. So I got my single cone of I have no idea what kind of ice cream and off to the next adventure. We have some funny stories about us entering Canada, hopefully in one of the posts we will tell you about them. Off to home, only 4 hours of driving winding roads in the Dark, yeaaaah.
