Mad River Rapids RV Park – Arcata, CA – May12th thru 15th 2017

This Place was located right below the Redwoods National Park. Stunning Vistas while Driving

Of Course Staci had us Stop at every Tree with a sign. Believe me I think every tree in the Forrest had a sign and we stopped and saw all of them. This one is next to a restaurant that ran out of Propane to cook Meals. It turned out great because down the road we ate at Mexican Food Restaurant overlooking a beautiful river.

The Sign on the Road said Big Tree, of course we had to stop and touch the Big Tree. In all Fairness this tree is how the Redwoods National Park came into being. A logger wanted to make a Dance Floor on it and a gentleman ran a campaign to save it thus creating the Redwood national park. Even I can learn something interesting from a Tree. Grrrr I am never going to live that one down. Off to the next Tree

Oh boy instead of a Tree, More Ocean but I was excited about the change from trees as you can see. This shot and the next few were at Patrick’s Point, CA.

Taken from Weding Rock at Patrick’s Pointe. My Baby got this very beautiful shot I think

Could have watched the waves crash into the Rocks all Day. It beat Trees as it was actually doing something.LOL

Me just dang excited to see something other than Trees with Signs. And yes the view was spectacular from there.
