Okay so we have no photo’s, but lots of video we are attempting to get uploaded. Now you have to use your imagination, I know hard for some of you. The Dam actually releases water over the dam at 10pm every Summer night. Why so late you ask. Welll!!! we are way up north and that is when the sun sets up here in summer. Now water flowing and churning white on the Dam. Wa la shoot a laser light show on it and you have a massive outdoor Movie Screen. Add a Radio station dedicated to the show and outside speakers all around Town and you got something going now. Did we mention this is way out in the middle of Nowhere. We saw the show from three different locations including a Bluff about 5 miles away and only had 2 other cars there watching it with us. There was room for hundreds. The other times we saw it all by ourselves with the laser light operator till we found out it was automatic so just us. Are you getting the theme here, go where no one else goes. But heck this is the middle of Summer. You would have thought there would be people out to see this. Nope just us and Bob Cow and Sam (From our trip to Keller Ferry) at the Bluff.
Quick note, Staci would kill me if I didn’t tell you that the Dam is really important in History and they have a museum about it. I am truly glad to have learned many things I had no idea about. Damm, pun aside now Water has taught me something interesting, will it never end, Trees, Rocks, and now Water ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.
